Director’s Assistant – Financial Development

As the Assistant to the Director of Financial Development, you will help make generosity possible by supporting the systems, communication, and follow-through that keeps our mission moving forward. Your steady support ensures donors are cared for, campaigns are organized, and ministry teams can stay focused on the people they serve.
How You Help the Mission
You will support the Director of Financial Development through:
Campaign & Fundraising Support
- Assist with planning generosity campaigns, ministry events, and donor communications.
- Track tasks, deadlines, creative assets, and follow-up items across multiple departments.
- Gather information, edit materials, and organize campaign resources.
- Support the Communications Team by proofreading and assisting with basic writing tasks as needed.
Executive Support & Communication
- Provide scheduling and administrative support, including email inbox organization and calendar priorities.
- Prepare meeting agendas and take minutes, ensuring clear and timely follow-up.
- Help maintain donor records, follow-up lists, and mailed correspondence with accuracy and confidentiality.
Operational & Personnel Support
- Process payroll-related items on behalf of the Director, including time-off requests and timecard change requests for the thrift and development teams.
- Support communication workflows and internal forms related to fundraising, thrift operations, and campaign coordination.
- Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and maintaining shared files.

Location and Schedule
- Work will be performed on site in our Canon City, CO office.
- Monday – Thursday 8 am – 5 pm
- Friday 8 am – 12 pm
Compensation
This is a non-exempt full-time position. Overtime pay rate applies for time worked over 40 hours per week.
Paid Medical Leave, MEC, and Life Insurance is included, optional health benefits include Vision, and HDHP. Paid vacation begins to accrue after 30 days.
