A parent cannot parent while in prison.
For many incarcerated parents, their time in prison doesn’t just separate them from their children—it strains or even severs relationships that are crucial for both their own healing and their children’s well-being.
A parent in prison can feel like a failure, unsure of how to relate to their children while being absent.
Through consistent support and parenting training, we equip these parents with the tools to rebuild their relationships with their children. By fostering stronger bonds, we empower parents to break the cycle of trauma and create a healthier future for their families.
Discipleship Changes Everything
How Do We Break The Cycle Of Incarceration?
We provide specialized programs to support parents in prison, including doula services and private placements for pregnant moms, as well as InsideOut Dads classes for fathers. These ministries are designed to restore family bonds and empower parents to actively engage in their children’s lives.
Additionally, we offer full-time chaplains for spiritual guidance, one-on-one mentorship to walk alongside parents, and discipleship that leads to a saving faith in Christ.
Through consistent support and a strong faith community, we help incarcerated parents heal from their past, rebuild relationships with their children, and find lasting freedom.
Discipleship looks different in each stage of the journey
We recognize that each incarcerated parent has a unique journey. Our focus is on meeting them where they are with empathy and understanding, ensuring that they feel cared for as they begin their journey toward healing and transformation.

- Regular Bible Studies: Deepening understanding of God’s Word and its transformative power.
As parents accept the freedom found in Christ, healing begins for deep emotional and spiritual wounds. We walk with them, guiding them toward restored relationships with God, themselves, others, and their children.
- Faith in Christ: Embracing the transformative power of faith for true healing.
- Healing from Trauma: Addressing past hurts and finding emotional and spiritual restoration.
- Baptism: Marking a step of renewal and a public declaration of new life in Christ.
True transformation happens when incarcerated parents rebuild their lives, reconnect with their children, and become leaders and mentors. As they experience healing, grow in faith, and step into new roles, they not only stay out of prison but actively guide others toward freedom and restoration.
Their lives radiate purpose, inspiring and influencing those around them. They embrace restored relationships, thrive in a positive community, and find stability as they walk confidently in their God-given identity.
