Did You Know?
Children who have experienced the incarceration of a parent are 6x more likely to become incarcerated themselves. To use current percentages, 30% of all children with an incarcerated parent will become incarcerated.
They are also 3x more likely to suffer from depression and twice as likely to have learning disabilities.
The number one factor in reducing those risks is strong family and community support.
We believe that no family should face incarceration alone. By providing support and care for families impacted by incarceration—child, caregiver, and the one incarcerated—we seeks to help break the cycle of incarceration.
When You Help Change a Child’s Story, You Change a Family’s Future
The Difference You Make
From the earliest days of God’s people, those set apart for ministry have been sustained by the faithful gifts of others. The Levites devoted themselves to the work of the temple through the support of God’s people, and Paul reminded the church that those who proclaim the gospel should receive their living from the gospel. Following this Biblical pattern, we invite you to join in supporting those called to this work so that children, families, and incarcerated men and women can continue to be surrounded by Christ-centered care and discipleship. Impact is made possible when the body of Christ lives out this calling together.
Your support helps:
- Provide daily, Christ-centered care for men and women in prison through full-time chaplains
- Surround children with consistent mentors who build trust and stability
- Give families opportunities to reconnect and heal through Camp ARK, Kids Clubs, and Family Events
Together, we can provide support so that no family faces incarceration alone and that each one has the opportunity to encounter hope, healing, and transformation in Christ.
